This is how many audio files you want me to mix in total. If you’re having more than one project mixed, you need to select the total number of audio files there are in total, across all the mixes combined.
An audio file is an individual export of one of the elements in your track. Eg, Kick mic inside, kick mic outside, bass DI, bass amp, effect riser 1, effect riser 2 etc. These will all have their own separate channel within the mix, the more there are, the longer the mix takes. Hence why the price increases.
Eg 1..If you have one song to mix and it contains 22 audio files. You enter ’22’ as the Number of Audio Files.
Eg 2..If you have 3 songs to mix, with 15, 25 and 33 files in each (73 in total). You enter ’73’ as the Number of Audio Files.
Some people refer to these as stems, however true stems are groups of the same instruments ganged together as a single file. Just be aware of the looseness of the phrase ‘stems’ when discussing audio.
